ESL has released the match-ups for the quarter-final stage of IEM San Jose.

On November 21-22, the SAP Center indoor arena, also known as "The Shark Tank", will stage the North American stop in the IEM event circuit, with eight teams, hailing from North America and Europe, duking it out for their share of a $100,000 prize pool.

Much to everyone's surprise, there will not be a group stage or Lower Bracket as the tournament will be played in a single-elimination, best-of-three format, which means that teams will be sent home after just one defeat.

Virtus.pro and G2 will face each other again

The draw has thrown up a repeat of the DH Open Cluj quarter-final clash between Virtus.pro and G2, which was won by Mikail "Maikelele" Bill's side. The winner of this series will move on to the semi-finals, facing either EnVyUs or the team coming from the iBUYPOWER Cup.
